Hero I-League: Mohun Bagan vs Indian Arrows- All you need to know about this match
Mohun Bagan host Indian Arrows in what will be a historic first ever Hero I-League match at their own home ground on Friday (December 29, 2017). Meanwhile, this is going to be the youngsters’ first visit to the city which is termed as the Mecca of Indian Football after their FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign.
The Green and Maroons will be looking to shrug off their mid-table blues and will be relying on the support of their faithful present at the club grounds, attendance expected to breach the 15,000 mark.
Though the Kolkata giants have remained unbeaten this season so far, three draws with only two victories have seen them slip to the fifth spot on the 2017/18 Hero I-League table. The latest results at home, a 1-1 draw with Shillong Lajong and a goalless stalemate against newly promoted NEROCA FC have made the fans restless coupled with arch-rivals Kingfisher East Bengal now perched on top of the standings.
On the other hand, the Blue Colts have won only two of the five matches they played. Back to back losses against Minerva and a loss against Gokulam after a win against Chennai City FC may have lead them to low morale. But, they came back strong beating Shillong Lajong FC 3-0.

Mohun Bagan is much of an experienced side and will be hungry for a win after two back to back draws. So, they will look forward to pounce back and make their mark once more on the I-League ladder.
On the other hand, Arrows being a project, they have no pressure on them to win or get a point from the match. Also, they won their last match 3-0 against one of the best side in the league- Shillong Lajong FC. So they will go in the game with more confidence than the home side.
Also considering the fact, the Blue Colts are way ahead of the Mariners in fitness and that is one of the main factors in this sport, LNTUP predicts a win for the Arrows with a correct scoreline of 2-1.
