Sanchez Rejects Huge Bonuses From China To Secure Manchester City Move

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly rejected a £21 million a year package to secure his move to the Etihad this coming January, indicating that City boss Pep Guardiola has finally got hold of his long time target. The Sun yesterday claimed that the charismatic Arsenal forward was handed a lucrative contract by Chinese club Hebei China Fortune, whose current manager is City’s ex-boss Manuel Pellegrini with digits surfacing as high as £400,000 per week but the want away Chilean star has rejected his move to anywhere else in hope of cementing his move to Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola hasn’t denied his interest in him either, as he was seen avoiding questions related to Alexis in a recent conference and hasn’t ruled out City’s pursuit in bringing the player to Etihad. His current Arsenal deal expires next summer and gunner’s manager Arsene Wenger would be hoping to fork out some fortune on the 28 year old veteran rather to leave him for nothing.

Pep has hinted he would move for a new left winger in the coming transfer window, as to give necessary rest to Leroy Sane and also Gabriel Jesus who has played in that position, given he is a natural striker. Alexis has been in good form this season, scoring 4 times in his 15 game appearances, not to forget he has 3 assists in his name too.

Alexis’ move to Etihad last season was blocked after Arsenal could not secure the services of AS Monaco’s Thomas Lemar after a deadline day back out by the Monaco ace. With Arsenal targeting Leon Bailey and Lemar again this January, Alexis wish to move to Etihad may just seem to have been sealed.
