Manchester United Eyeing Bordeaux Sensation
Manchester United eyeing Bordeaux sensation
After failing to put up a solid midfield performance this season, Manchester United boss has hinted that the club may look elsewhere to bring in a new midfielder in the coming transfer window in order to fight for the title and other competitions. With ex Juventus playmaker Paul Pogba missing many crucial and title deciding matches due to suspension and Henrikh Mkhitaryan not quite fitting into United boss Jose Mourinho’s plan, Bordeaux prodigy Malcom’s name has come up in several media reports including the daily, Sunday Times suggesting that the 20 year old could be heading to Old Trafford for £30 mil this coming January transfer window in order to finally shine on the bigger stage.
Already having created quite a buzz this season in the French top flight, the young Brazilian winger has already notched up 7 goals and 4 assists in the 16 matches he starred in for the Ligue 1 outfit. Having a quite decent pass accuracy of 81%, he has shown a lot of promise and has lived up to the hype among the French media given his fantastic quality on the ball, accompanied by blistering pace and smooth dribbling. He has won over 200 duels already, proving why Jose needs this man to cut through tough and physical Premier League defenders and prove to be a trump card in the coming seasons and become the next big thing in England.
With quite a few European elites already waiting for the youngster’s signatures on their contract papers, United may have to fork out quite a bit of fortune in order to land the talented Brazilian and add him to their ranks in the coming year.
