1.I League 2017/18.
Putting behind their derby defeat, East Bengal roared back to form with a 5-1 demolition of Shillong Lajong FC in an I-League football fixture in Barasat on Saturday. Mohun Bagan continued their winning form against Churchill brothers by 5-0 win.

2. Hat-trick for Corominas.
Ferran Corominas scored the fastest ISL hat-trick as FC Goa hammered Kerala Blasters 5-2 in a high-scoring enthralling match of the Indian Super League here today.

3. Griezmann to miss next match.
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann will miss Sunday’s Spanish league game at Real Betis.
Griezmann was left off Atletico’s squad announced by coach Diego Simeone on Saturday after he failed to recover from an unspecified injury. The club had said the player felt pain in his right thigh following Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea in the Champions League.

4. Di Maria shines again.

Host club Al Jazira beat Japan’s Urawa Reds 1-0 on Saturday to earn a meeting with Real Madrid in the Club World Cup.
Ali Mabkhout scored in the 52nd minute from a pass by Romarinho.
Al Jazira will face Madrid on Wednesday in the semifinals.

6. Unbeaten foxes in away games.
Leicester City stretched their unbeaten away run in the Premier League to six games after an 86th-minute own goal by Ayoze Perez gave them a 3-2 win at Newcastle United in a pulsating clash on Saturday.

7. ISL 2017/18 updates.
Coming on the back of 1-0 away victory Delhi Dynamos, Jamshedpur FC appeared confident taking on FC Pune City at home. But the new IPL side failed to find the back of the net and suffered a 1-0 defeat. A goal by Adil Khan in the 30th minute gave a 1-0 lead to the away team and in spite of several attempts, Jamshedpur FC failed to make a comeback and dropped points.

8. Dortmund sacked their coach.
Borussia Dortmund sacked Peter Bosz as coach after managing just one win in 13 games across all competitions and named former Cologne coach Peter Stoeger as his replacement on Sunday. Stoeger was sacked as Cologne coach the previous Sunday after his side failed to win any of its opening 14 Bundesliga games of the season.

9. Draw for Arsenal.
Olivier Giroud made the difference off the bench again for Arsenal, scoring an 88th-minute equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.

10. Disaster Borussia.
Borussia Dortmund fans were left wondering how much longer Peter Bosz can remain as coach after a 2-1 defeat at home to Werder Bremen on Saturday, the team’s eighth straight Bundesliga game without a win.
