3. Griezmann to miss next match.
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann will miss Sunday’s Spanish league game at Real Betis.
Griezmann was left off Atletico’s squad announced by coach Diego Simeone on Saturday after he failed to recover from an unspecified injury. The club had said the player felt pain in his right thigh following Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea in the Champions League.

With their futures uncertain, winger Angel Di Maria and midfielder Javier Pastore scored as French leader Paris Saint-Germain beat Lille 3-1 on Saturday.

Host club Al Jazira beat Japan’s Urawa Reds 1-0 on Saturday to earn a meeting with Real Madrid in the Club World Cup.
Ali Mabkhout scored in the 52nd minute from a pass by Romarinho.
Al Jazira will face Madrid on Wednesday in the semifinals.

7. ISL 2017/18 updates.
Coming on the back of 1-0 away victory Delhi Dynamos, Jamshedpur FC appeared confident taking on FC Pune City at home. But the new IPL side failed to find the back of the net and suffered a 1-0 defeat. A goal by Adil Khan in the 30th minute gave a 1-0 lead to the away team and in spite of several attempts, Jamshedpur FC failed to make a comeback and dropped points.

8. Dortmund sacked their coach.
Borussia Dortmund sacked Peter Bosz as coach after managing just one win in 13 games across all competitions and named former Cologne coach Peter Stoeger as his replacement on Sunday. Stoeger was sacked as Cologne coach the previous Sunday after his side failed to win any of its opening 14 Bundesliga games of the season.
