Shocking Premier League Club Plotting Bid For Chelsea Target Moussa Dembele
Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is a priority target for Brighton boss Chris Hughton
After gaining promotion this year, Brighton have made quite a few intelligent captures and have duly got the results as they currently sit 12th in the league table. The Seagulls’ striker Glenn Murray has been in tremendous form, scoring 5 goals so far but Hughton wants to add more depth to his strikeforce with Celtic star Moussa Dembele firmly on his sight.
Dembele has scored 8 goals for the Scottish club this season and has been an instrumental figure in Celtic’s recent domestic success since his move to the Celtic Park from Fulham last summer.
According to Scottish Daily Mail, Brighton will lodge a £20million January bid for the 21-year-old Frenchman who is valued at £30million by Celtic. If Dembele, who has been linked with Chelsea too, decides to move to Brighton, that would smash Brighton’s transfer record fee currently held by Jose Izquierdo who moved to Brighton on the eve of this season for £13.5million.
