Real Madrid : This is not the Real Madrid we typically know. They are really struggling, well atleast in the La Liga they are. Currently they are placed on 4th position with 28 points from 14 MatchDays, 8 point difference from 1st placed Barcelona. Where do I think they will finish? Well Barcelona needs to lose their matches first and Real needs to win! Then we can discuss.
The situation is quite the opposite in the UEFA Champions League, still though they aren’t placed on the first position but they have been doing quite well here, as they stand on 2nd position with 10 points, scoring 14 goals and conceding 5 in 5 MatchDays. And very surprisingly Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid already have qualified for the knockout stages of the competition, for the dismay of Borussia Dortmund fans. Though it seems Real Madrid will finish 2nd in the group stage as because it’s very unlikely that Apoel (2points) will beat Spurs (13 points) and make way for Real Madrid to be first.
Zinedine Zidane will be without Gareth Bale (Calf) yet again due to injury, Marco Asensio (Muscle) is also set to remain out. Else he has a full squad to pickfrom and it seems he may line up with the same squad that faced Athletic Bilbao last weekend in their 0-0 draw against them. Though he might make some changes as they have some tough La Liga fixtures on the way with Sevilla being the first next week. Sergio Ramos and Casemiro might start as both will be out due to suspension against Sevilla. Daniel Carvajal is suspended for this clash and for the Sevilla clash too. In RB against BVB Nacho or young Achraf Hakimi might deputise, if Nacho deputises then Varane or Vallejo will play in CB.
Possible line up Real Madrid – (4-3-3) : Navas; Hakimi, Ramos, Nacho, Theo Hernandez; Kroos, Casemiro, Ceballos; Isco, Ronaldo, Lucas Vazquez.

Borussia Dortmund : Dortmund have somewhat lost their play/rhythm completely! Last weekend they drew against Bayer Leverkusen 1-1. It looked like this year we will see something else in the Bundesliga, else stands for a new Champion. But No! Peter Bosz and co. have drowned themselves. Currently they are on 6th position in the Bundesliga with 22 points from 14 MatchDays. And the situation isn’t different in the Champions League too with Dortmund already getting knocked out early from the group stage. Though still there is some hope if Spurs are able to beat Apoel and make way for Dortmund to get into the Europa League atleast. Presently it looks like Dortmund will have a trophyless season with Peter Bosz getting the axe at the end.
Team news is, Maximillian Philipp (Knee) is the latest inclusion in the long injury list of the Borussens with the German getting injured against Leverkusen he joins Marco Reus, Lukas Piszczek, Gonzalo Castro, Eric Durm, Mario Götze and Sebastian Rode in the sidelines. The guy who was suspended against Leverkusen, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also has a hip injury but he might be able to shake it off on time. Jeremy Toljan is suspended for the trip to the Bernabeu.
Possible line up – Dortmund (4-3-3) : Bürki; Bartra, Sokratis, Toprak, Schmelzer; Kagawa, Weigl, Guerreiro; Yarmolenko, Aubameyang, Schuerrle.
