Bayern : The Bavarians got defeated at the hands of the Foals 2-1 on MatchDay 13 and that was only the first defeat under the reign of Jupp Heynckes in all competitions this season. Well if we keep aside Gladbach’s social media handler and Gladbach fans, nobody thought that the Foals will be able to beat Bayern. Though Bayern didn’t play well but that doesn’t take away any respect from Gladbach’s heroic performance against the German giants, the Foals really played well. So, will Bayern make a quick winning comeback against newly promoted side Hannover? Time will tell but current scenario suggests Yes! The Bavarians can make a comeback. That loss didn’t cost Bayern much as they still top the table with a difference of 3 points from 2nd placed RB Leipzig and 5 points from 3rd placed Schalke. Now Bayern are set to welcome back Thomas Müller (Thigh), James Rodriguez (Concussion) and Rafinha (Ankle) for the clash as all these players were back on first team training. David Alaba (Back) and Juan Bernat (Thigh) both the leftback’s remain as doubts for the fixture. Jupp Heynckes said Ribery (Knee) still needs a few weeks to comeback so he also remains out for the tie. Thiago Alcantara (Thigh), Manuel Neuer (Broken Foot) and Arjen Robben (Hamstring) are set to remain out for the year and maybe even more. Yes Neuer is confirmed to remain out till February atleast. I will be predicting a start for Müller as he is back but if he starts from the bench then Tolliso might take his place in a different formation, Friedl or Rafinha may start at left back if both Alaba and Bernat stays out.
Possible line up – Bayern (4-2-3-1) : Ulreich; Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Friedl; Martinez, Vidal; Müller, James, Coman; Lewandowski.
Hannover : Well currently their form isn’t upto the mark but they started the season quite well. Once they got upto 4th place too. Last week they drew against fellow newly promoted side Vfb Stuttgart at Home. Presently they sit on 10th place from 13 MatchDays, scoring 16 times and conceding 16 times as well. They need a win to get some fresh air, but it’s not easy to get a win against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. The Reds(Hannover also knows as The Reds or Die Roten) need to put up the same performance as Gladbach did against Bayern on MatchDay 13, if they are to achieve something from this one. Andre Breitenreiter might be without some key players as first choice goalie Philipp Tschauner (Shoulder), Salif Sane (Thigh), Bebou (Thigh) and Harnik (Flu) remain as doubts for the clash, though things doesn’t look serious they might be able to shake it off on time. Brazilian Forward Jonathas (Thigh) also remains as a doubt. Felipe (Thigh) and Edgar Prib (Cruciate Ligament) remain out till January and February respectively.
Possible line up – Hannover (3-4-3) : Tschauner; Sorg, Sane, Anton; Korb, Schwegler, Bakalorz, Ostrzolek; Klaus, Füllkrug, Bebou.
