Everton’s move to a new stadium edged a little closer when the Premier League club formally signed an agreement to lease land at the proposed Bramley Moore Dock site on Thursday.
3. Tammy Abraham is doubtful for next game.
Swansea forward Tammy Abraham is doubtful for Saturday’s Premier League game against Bournemouth with a back problem but strike partner Wilfried Bony is set to make his first start in nearly two months, manager Paul Clement has said.

4. Oh Robinho !
An Italian court sentenced former AC Milan and Brazil forward Robinho in absentia to nine years in prison on Thursday after convicting him of taking part in a gang rape of an Albanian woman in 2013.

5. Mata is happy with United.
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is enjoying life at the club and says he is open to extending his four-year stay at Old Trafford. The Spain international has made over 150 appearances for United since joining in 2014. His contract expires next year though the club have the option to extend it until 2019.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho fears that midfielder Marouane Fellaini will leave the Premier League club at the end of the season.

7. Fourth Golden Shoe for Messi.
Lionel Messi received his fourth Golden Shoe award on Friday for leading all of Europe’s leagues in scoring last season. It was the fourth time the Barcelona forward has received the honor, drawing him even with Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo as the award record-holders.
8, Asensio got injury.
Real Madrid will be without midfielder Marco Asensio for Saturday’s Spanish league match against Malaga because of a right leg injury.
Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says “it’s not much, but he has something. So like always, it is better that he is out three or four days than hurting himself even more.”
9. Lille to appoint special coaching team.
A four-man coaching team will take provisional charge of French football club Lille in the wake of Marcelo Bielsa’s dismissal.
Lille says Fernando Da Cruz, Joao Sacramento, Benoit Delaval and Franck Mantaux will be in charge of the team until further notice.
10. Defoe to miss next game.
Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe will miss Saturday’s trip to Swansea City in the Premier League after failing to recover from a calf injury, manager Eddie Howe said on Friday.
