Borussia Dortmund : The question remains the same, when will Dortmund make a comeback from this sticky spell? Will it be against Schalke in the RuhrDerby? (also known as RevierDerby). Well presently BVB fans shouldn’t expect a win from their favourite team, their team can’t even get a draw for the least, and now they face the team which is in the 2nd position of the Bundesliga. But hey! It’s the RuhrDerby, anything can happen. We have seen many heated Ruhr Derby matches all these years and lntup expects this to be the same. Dortmund presently are on 5th position in the Bundesliga with 20 points from 12 MatchDays, scoring 29 times and conceding 16 times. Peter Bosz is sweating over the fitness of injured goalkeeper Roman Bürki who went off the field with a head injury and if he remains out then we may see Roman Weidenfellar deputising for him. Christian Pulisic resumed training on Wednesday and we may see him making a comeback for sure, Sokratis has a slight Rib Injury but might be able to shake it off on time. Else Marco Reus, Sebastian Rode, Eric Durm and Lukas Piszczek all remain out with injuries.
Possible line up Dortmund (4-3-3) – Bürki; Toljan, Sokratis, Bartra, Guerreiro; Götze, Weigl, Castro; Pulisic, Aubameyang, Philipp.
Schalke : If not for Jupp Heynckes, Schalke would have been on top of the Bundesliga table surely. It’s not like they are just winning games but they are dominating the play too. They stand on 2nd position, with 23 points from 12 MatchDays scoring 16 times and letting in 10 times, quite good isn’t it? Yes! They aren’t a team who score a lot of goals but point is what a team needs in a season long league. But getting a point against Dortmund in the Signal-Iduna Park is not an easy job, let it be a struggling BVB. Domenico Tedesco might get back the services of Leon Goretzka for the trip to Dortmund as the German international trained on Wednesday and also looks fit. Franco Di Santo(thigh) remains as a doubt as he was subbed off in the 2-0 win over Hamburg on MatchDay 12. Pablo Insua(heart problems) remains out. Else Tedesco has a full squad to pick from.
Possible line up Schalke (3-5-2) – Fährmann; Stambouli, Naldo, Kehrer; Caligiuri, Goretzka, Meyer, Weston McKennie, Oczipka; Konoplyanka, Burgstaller.
