ISL 2017/18: Five players to watch out for Jamshedpur FC vs Northeast United match

The much coveted cash-rich baby of Indian football- Indian Super League kick-started yesterday amidst it’s usual razzmatazz. Although the inaugural match between last year’s finalists failed to set the tone, but this fourth season of ISL promises to be the best of the four for many reasons.

One of those reasons is the entry of the two new teams, and one of them are going to begin their ISL journey tonight.  Steve Coppel’s Jamshedpur FC will probably leave no stone unturned to leave a prominent first footstep of theirs in this tournament with a noteworthy performance against the highlanders.

Both Jamshedpur and NorthEast United are having some glittering and promising names in their rosters, some of whom may shine tonight as well.

Marcinho: The former CSKA Sofia and Russian Premier League side FC Ufa’s Attacking medio will be vital for Northeast United this season.This Brazilian also has an experience of playing Turkish Super Lig.Northeast will be looking on this guy when it comes to scoring goal.

Anas Edathodika: This guy is in a great form.After playing for I-league side Mohun Bagan and ISL side Delhi Dynamos,he has been in a fine shape.He was recently called up for India and played for 4 matches for his country.When it comes to defense the men of steel will be looking on him.


Sameehg Doutie: The South African midfielder played for Defending ISL champions ATK last season.He scored 5 goals in 26 apps.A very skillfull player on the wing and can even shake any defense with speed and skills.


Souvik Chakraborti: Former TATA Football Academy graduate Souvik Chakraborti can be termed as ” Sergio Busquets” of Indian Football.The Central Defensive Midfielder has a rich experience of playing in Delhi Dynamos for the last three season.He also played for Mohun Bagan in the I-league.


Kervens Belfort: The Haitian International has scored 16 goals in 42 appearances for his country.Having played for Kerala Blasters,runners-up of the last season.This guy can be great threat on opponent’s defense.
