1.Contract extension for Croatia coach.
Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic will have his contract extended after qualifying for the World Cup within weeks of being hired. The Croatian Football Federation says its executive committee will “verify this agreement” next week.

2. VAR from next season.
La Liga plans to introduce video assistant referees (VAR) next season, the league’s president Javier Tebas said on Tuesday.
Spain’s top flight is the only one of Europe’s top five leagues which has so far shunned the use of goalline technology, much to the frustration of the teams.

3. Argentina collapsed before Nigeria.
Argentina striker Sergio Aguero collapsed in the dressing room at halftime before they lost 4-2 to fellow World Cup qualifiers Nigeria after taking a two-goal lead in a friendly in Krasnodar, Russia on Tuesday.

4. Ramos struck twice.
Sergio Ramos scored twice from the penalty spot as Spain drew 3-3 with Russia in a friendly on Tuesday.
Grit and some fine individual skill from striker Fyodor Smolov brought Russia back from 2-0 down to earn a draw which will boost morale after a tough year for the 2018 World Cup hosts.

5. 1-0 win for Belgian.
Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku became his country’s leading scorer at the age of 24 when his goal gave them a 1-0 win over fellow World Cup qualifiers Japan in a friendly in Bruges on Tuesday.

6. The Unbeaten World Champions.
Germany’s Lars Stindl scored a last-gasp equaliser to rescue a 2-2 draw against France in a friendly on Tuesday as the world champions stretched their unbeaten run to 21 matches.
France twice led through Alexandre Lacazette, who netted either side of Timo Werner’s leveller, but Stindl struck in stoppage time to rescue the hosts.

7. An impressive young defence.
Gareth Southgate expressed pride in England’s young defence as his side drew 0-0 with Brazil in a friendly on Tuesday, four days after a similar stalemate against world champions Germany.
Even more satisfying for manager Southgate was the fact that injuries and withdrawals meant he was without several first-choice players for the double-header against the nations standing first and second in FIFA’s world rankings.

8. Denmark off to the World Cup.
Christian Eriksen scored a superb hat trick as Denmark qualified for next year’s World Cup with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Ireland in their playoff on Tuesday.
With last week’s first leg having finished 0-0, Ireland made an ideal start to the return match by taking the lead in the sixth minute through defender Shane Duffy.

9. Ronaldo to leave Real Madrid ?
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly rejected a new contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid and demanded a transfer towards the end of the season. The Portugal captain’s deal ends with the club in 2021.
According to TV station El Chiringuito journalist Edu Aguirre, Ronaldo has conveyed to the club president Florentino Perez of his decision to leave the club, adding that the 32-year old wants to leave on June 30.

10. Drogba to retire.
Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will retire from the sport following the conclusion of the next United Soccer League (USL) season in November 2018.
The Ivorian won four Premier League titles among 14 trophies in a Chelsea career spanning more than 380 appearances, and the 39-year-old is currently playing for Phoenix Rising in the second tier of United States professional soccer.
