1.Chelsea technical director quits.
Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo has left Stamford Bridge after playing a key backroom role for a decade, the Premier League club said on Monday.
The 52-year-old former Nigeria international has been one of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s key lieutenants, overseeing player and manager recruitment during a turbulent period during which he worked with 10 head coaches.
2. AFC U-19 championship Qualifiers.
India grabbed their first point as they played out a goalless draw against Yemen in their second match of the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers. India had suffered a 0-5 thrashing at the hands of hosts Saudi Arabia in their tournament opener on Saturday. They play Turkmenistan in their final Group D match on Wednesday.
3. Another legend out.
Legendary Italian football player, Andrea Pirlo has finally called time on his illustrious career. The 38-year-old played his last match for New York City before announcing his retirement. Pirlo, who has won the World Cup in 2006 with the Italian national football team, took to Twitter to announce his retirement.
4. Major players loss for Ireland.
Ireland will be without defender Richard Keogh, midfielder James McCarthy and forward Sean Maguire for their World Cup playoff against Denmark which kicks off with the first leg on Saturday. Keogh has a groin problem while McCarthy and Maguire are suffering with hamstring strains.
5. Kane will miss the friendlies.
England have lost the services of Tottenham Hotspur trio Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Harry Winks for the friendlies against Germany and Brazil, the FA announced on Monday.
Striker Kane (knee) and midfielder Winks (ankle) had treatment during Tottenham’s win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday. Alli sustained a hamstring injury in last week’s Champions League victory over Real Madrid.
6. Makelele to coach Belgian club.
Former France midfielder Claude Makelele ended his 10-month spell as assistant manager at Swansea on Monday to take over as head coach at Belgian team Eupen.
7. Chetri to score a memorable goal.
India captain Sunil Chhetri’s spectacular free-kick goal in Bengaluru FC’s 1-0 win over Maldives’ Maziya Sports and Recreation in the AFC Cup has been nominated as one of the four best goals of the tournament.

Indian football heavyweights Mohun Bagan and East Bengal were on Monday denied AFC License for this season by the All India Football Federation.
Reigning I-League champions Aizawl FC and Bengaluru FC were awarded the AFC License.
9. Blackpool owner lose court case against Latvian businessman.
A Latvian businessman has won a court case against the owners of English soccer team Blackpool over the running of the club following its promotion to the Premier League.
A judge ruled that the Oyston family had shown unfair prejudice against shareholders by excluding them from key decisions, information and share of profits.
10. In search of a regular place.
Tammy Abraham is hoping his fine form while on loan at Swansea City and the resulting England call-up are the first steps on his long journey towards clinching a first-team spot at his parent club Chelsea.
The 20-year-old striker, currently on a season-long loan spell at the Liberty Stadium, has scored four goals in 11 Premier League appearances this season.
