1.Salah is out from the Egypt squad in Ghana.
Mohammed Salah will miss Egypt’s final World Cup qualifier against Ghana this month to focus on Liverpool’s domestic and European campaigns, the Egyptian soccer federation said Thursday.
2. Generous Messi.
Barcelona star Lionel Messi donated to charity around £65,000 that he won in a newspaper defamation case. The Argentinian donated the amount he had promised to Doctors Without Borders also known as Medecins Sans Frontierers.
3. Want to have more assists : Lukaku.
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku believes it is too early to judge him, with the 24-year-old saying he still has plenty of room for improvement as he braces for a return to his former club in Sunday’s Premier League clash at champions Chelsea.
4. Evra to get his punishment next week.
Marseille defender Patrice Evra will be banned for at least one game for kicking a fan of his own team before a Europa League game.
UEFA said Friday that its disciplinary body will meet on Nov. 10 to rule on the incident, which saw Evra sent off for violent conduct before the game in Portugal.
5. Mourinho is being accused for 3.3 million euro.
After appearing in court on Friday, Jose Mourinho said he has paid everything he owed to Spanish tax authorities from the time he coached Real Madrid.
The Manchester United manager made his comments after a brief appearance before a Spanish judge to answer questions regarding accusations of tax fraud.
6. National call for Martial.
Anthony Martial’s recent form for Manchester United has earned him a recall to the France squad.
France coach Didier Deschamps selected Martial when announcing his squad on Thursday for friendlies at home to Wales on Nov. 10 and away to Germany four days later.
7. Nine from Manipur in AFC U-19.
Players from Manipur once again dominate a national football squad as the India U-19 team take on hosts Saudi Arabia in the AFC U-19 Championships Qualifiers on Friday. Nine players from the state have made it to the squad picked for the qualifiers. Manipur had earlier made headlines when eight players from the state had made it to the squad that played in the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
8. Morata, Iniesta in. Costa out.
Andres Iniesta and Alvaro Morata are back in Spain’s squad for upcoming friendlies against Costa Rica and Russia, while Diego Costa remains out because he still can’t play with Atletico Madrid.
9. Rest for Ronaldo.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been rested for Portugal’s upcoming friendlies against Saudi Arabia and the United States. Ronaldo, who has managed to score just one goal in La Liga this season, will not play Portugal’s home games against Saudi Arabia on November 10 and the United States on November 14.
10. Suspension for Guerrero.
Peru captain and striker Paolo Guerrero has been provisionally suspended by FIFA for 30 days after failing a doping test. Guerrero tested positive on October 5 after the World Cup qualifying match against Argentina, the Peruvian Football Federation added on Friday.
