Transfer rumours are one of the most exciting parts of football season. Rumours need not be 100% true everytime but they can be pretty much effective sometime to keep track of your favourite club’s future endeavours. LNTUP presents to you today’s top transfer rumours from well known sources across the globe.

1.”Inter, Roma haven’t yet contacted for Bologna star”

Bologna and Italian international forward Simeone Verdi’s agent has denied any contact from Roma and Inter. Verdi, who joined Bologna from Milan
in 2016 for €1.5m, has been rumoured to be scouted by Napoli and West Ham too.

Verdi’s agent Donato Orgnoni denied all these links in a recent interview with RomaNews.eu.

Orgnoni told : “Roma are looking for him? There’s been nothing up till now. I’ve never spoken to Monchi.

“It’s an interest that we’ve only read about in the papers.

“So far, Roma haven’t tried anything.”

“Nothing is moving at the moment with Napoli, the player is thinking about the current season with the Felsineo [Bologna].

“I don’t think anything will happen in January. We’ve not officially received any offers or been in contact with anyone, not even with Inter.

“The player is happy where he is, we renewed our deal at the end of last season and we’re now tied to Bologna until 2021.”

2. “Arsenal and Chelsea weighing up bid for Peter Gulacsi”

Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly targeting RB Leipzig goalie Peter Gulacsi. The 27-year-old Hungarian international previously plied his trade at Liverpool
for 5 years but failed to impress. Now, according to ESPN, Chelsea and Arsenal sent scouts to observe Gulacsi at Leipzig’s Bundesliga fixture against
Bayern Munich.This season he has appeared in 14 matches, conceding 17 goals and kept 3 clean sheets. Due to his time as a youth in Liverpool, he would be counted as a
homegrown player in England.

3. “Yaya Toure open to Serie A move”

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure refuses to rule out a move to Serie A. Toure is tipped for a move away from Manchester City after featuring for just 39 minutes
in English Premier League so far. Toure has had offers from Inter Milan previously as Roberto Mancini desperately tried to sign him but the deal never materialised.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Ivorian international told :
“There were several contacts with Italian football in the past, but then I followed different, important paths like Barcelona and Manchester City.”

4. “Inter join Manchester City and Juventus in Atletico star chase”

Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez has gone through a strange transformation in Atletico Madrid. Once termed as the perfect successor of Diego Godin, he has lost
his place in Atletico squad due to his problems with Diego Simeone. Manchester City and Juventus have been tracking the 22-year-old Uruguayan international from a
long time. Now, according to FCInterNews Inter Milan have joined the race too. Inter’s owners have already approved the approach. Gimenez, who is thought to have
signed a contract extension until 2021, has a €60m release clause which could proved to be a stumbling block unless Atletico agree to a cut-price deal.

5. “Tottenham may finally land Barkley”

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham will finally lodge an offer to sign Ross Barkley from Everton after lots of speculations in the summer. Tottenham kept a close eye on the 23-year-old English international midfielder but opted not to make any official bid due to Barkley’s hamstring injury. Although Levy is known to extend negotiations
until the dying moments to make the most out of any deal, Vincent Wanyama’s long-term injury might force him to move for Barkley as quickly as possible.

6. “Juventus to insert huge release clause in Dybala’s new contract”

Paulo Dybala, 23, arguably one of the most gifted players in world football right now, is set for a bumper new contract at Juventus. The Argentine international joined the Old Lady from Palermo in 2015 and since has been the indispensable prince of Turin. This season also he has set Serie A on fire scoring 11 goals and notching up 2 assists so far. The fan favourite could even be offered a mammoth lifetime offer as hinted by Juventus CEO. ElGolDigital reports that the Serie A giants have decided to offfer Dybala a bumper new contract with €230m release clause inserted in it. If any club decides to match it, Dybala would become world’s most expensive player.

7. “Antonin Barak desires playing for Arsenal or Barcelona”

Udinese and Czech Republic midfielder has admitted his desire to play for Arsenal or Barcelona one day.

Barak, who has scored 2 goals so far this season and racked up the 3rd number of forward passes in Serie A this season, is an Arsenal fan and has always idolised Thierry Henry.

Barak told Gazzetta dello Sport: “I was and still am an Arsenal fan.

“I went crazy for Thierry Henry. These days, I watch Andres Iniesta for his vision and first touch.

“I know that I need to develop, and it doesn’t bother me where I end up. We’ll see.

“In Italy, there are a lot of important teams. In Europe, Arsenal and Barcelona appeal to me.”

8. “Rennes interested in loan move for Slimani”

Islam Slimani is attracting interest from French Ligue 1 side Rennes. Slimani has missed a lot of games due to injury and now as he is fit, he wants to play regularly. But, he thinks with the host of attacking options at the new manager Claude Puel’s disposal, Slimani might be frozen out and he wants to move elsewhere. Watford ‘s interest in Slimani is well known but according to Algerian website Le Buteur, Rennes are interested in taking Slimani on loan in January and Slimani, himself is very eager to move there.

9. “Napoli midfielder Jorginho attracting interest from Arsenal”

Napoli midfielder Jorginho is being targeted by Arsenal as per reports in Tuttomercato. The 25-year-old midfielder, who has both Brazilian and Italian citizenship, has recently decided to represent Brazil over Italy in international circuit. An extremely skillful player, he has earned rave reviews for his performances with Napoli. Arsenal are ready to wait until summer if they fail to land Jorginho in January. But, Napoli have no desire to sell the Brazilian whose contract at the Stadio San Paolo runs until 2020.

10. “Chelsea to offer new deal to Fabregas with Manchester United circling around”

Jose Mourinho, who brought Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea, is reportedly looking him as an alternative in case he fails to land Mesut Ozil from Arsenal. Fabregas has failed to get enough gametime last season under Antonio Conte but the Italian tactician has assured him enough gametime this season. According to The Times, Chelsea are ready to offer Fabregas a new deal to fend off interest from Manchester United. The 2010 FIFA World Cup winner has still 18 months left in his contract with the London side.
