Mohun Bagan’s name to get associated with a Guinness Book Record!

On 4th November, the century old institution of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club would become part of another milestone, well not directly but a part off course. This time It’s not related to what people know the Green and Maroon for, this time It’s related to the world of cinema that Bagan are going to get mentioned in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records!

Indian Movies and posters, the lovestory between the two is evident from time immemorial. It was not so long ago that ‘Baahubali- The Beginning’ edged It’s name in the pages of the Guinness book by producing the largest poster for any film in the world. The poster was of a staggering dimension of 51, 598 square feet. Now as the saying goes ‘Records are made to be broken’ and the record set by Baahubali is probably going to get surpassed by a Bengali movie this time.

‘Amazon Obhijaan’, a film directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee which has Tollywood heart-throb Dev (Deepak Adhikary) in It’s lead-role is all set to displace the much-hyped South Indian movie by framing the largest poster ever made for a movie. The poster would be of a whopping size of 60, 800 square feet and is ready to imprint It’s name in the pages of ‘Guinness Book of World Records’.

The poster would be unveiled at the Mohun Bagan ground on Saturday. The organizers would allow free-entry to the spectators and they would be able to become a part of a momentous occasion. The selection of Bagan ground as the venue of this record-breaking event makes the Green and Maroon a part of another glorious moment.
