Giroud to switch teams in PL?
Olivier Giroud has seen a decline in his playing time for Arsenal ever since the arrival of fellow national mate Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates this summer. News by Don Balon suggest that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly asked the Frenchman to move to the Stamford Bridge coming transfer window. Conte has been known to be a big fan of the 2017 Puskas Award winner Giroud who would definitely prove to be a quality addition at Chelsea.
Giroud is thought to be unhappy at Arsenal, given his low playing time under Arsene Wenger this season and will seek to find favourable buyers for himself in order to bring his career back to track. The 31-year old talisman has scored only one goal in nine matches in the Premier League this season and has also starred in all the three matches in the Europa League, netting two times.
Chelsea are in dire need of good players to bolster their small squad and Giroud will be an useful player to fill that role. It now remains to be seen how Wenger responds to these speculations and whether he will look to leave Giroud in such a risky time for the club.
