Celtic boy on United’s radar?
Celtic lad Kieran Tierney has been in impressive form lately after notching up some stellar performances in the Scottish Premier League. The 20-year old full back is reportedly being persuaded by a total of 17 teams, according to the esteemed daily Mirror.
Manchester United are believed to be the front-runners to win the youngster’s signature as they hope to buy the player to fit in Mourinho’s plans for the coming season. The United boss has been a long-time admirer of the Scottish U-21 international and plans to rope him up as soon as possible to cut off incoming competition from other European elites including Chelsea and Liverpool.
Talking of the player’s recent form, Tierney has played in ten out of the eleven matches in the league and has also started all the Champions League fixtures for Celtic. With a very clinical fouls per match numbers of below one, he is surely to reach greater heights in his footballing career and United may be the best possible platform for him to take his game to the next level.
