Manchester City to wait for Arsenal star
The news of Alexis Sanchez joining Manchester City are still in circulation as news surfaced suggesting City would rather wait for the Chilean star to be available for free next summer rather paying any fee this coming January.
City are still believed to be unhappy the following last-minute mess regarding the Arsenal star’s transfer as they believed they had everything in place to complete the transfer on the final day. But with Arsenal waiting for Thomas Lemar to replace Sanchez at the Emirates didn’t quite materialize and City were left with nothing in the end.
The charismatic playmaker has already played in 7 matches for the Gunners, scoring one and assisting two after his injury spell which made him wait to make his season debut till last month. The 28-year old has also netted one goal in the Europa League in the single match he has starred in.
With news of both Sanchez and Ozil set to leave the Emirates next season, Gunners manager Arsene Wenger will look for proper replacements in the upcoming transfer market to lessen Arsenal’s ongoing season woes.
