Trouble in paradise for Paris Saint-Germain?
PSG players are reportedly unhappy about Neymar’s prefential treatment.”
Since his world record move from Barcelona, Neymar is enjoying the life at Paris. He has found the feet at the Parc des Princes from his very first match and has so far linked up well with Cavani and Mbappe to form a deadly attacking trio who are bossing both the Ligue 1 and the Champions League. But, since the on-field spat with Cavani over set piece taking, Neymar’s popularity in the dressing room has come under the scanner.
Now, according to Le Parisien(h/t Marca), PSG players are unhappy with Neymar’s preferential treatment and extra privileges. They think some of the treatment Neymar receives, are way too much.
“These include having two personal physiotherapists that are dedicated only to him, in training players are not allowed to put strong tackles in on him and he is also exempt from defensive duties during matches,” Marca understood.
Neymar has also been allowed to carry his own personalised bag whereas the rest of the team must use those provided by the club having the PSG logo on those.
With the amount of money PSG spent on Neymar, it’s a no-brainer that he would be allowed to live a lavish life. But, to ensure their strong on field performances receive a constant boost, they must make sure their entire dressing room remains happy considering it is full of ambitious, world class players.
