The Italian’s side ground out a 2-1 win at home to David Unsworth’s Everton in the Carabao Cup.
A first half header from Antonio Rudiger and an added time strike from Willian saw Chelsea through.
Everton rallied in the second half and managed to grab a last gasp consolation goal but Conte’s men defended well throughout.
And after the match, the Blues boss seemed as happy as ever, despite reports suggesting he may soon be leaving Stamford Bridge.

Speaking after the victory, Conte said: “The performance was very good.
“In the first half we created chances to score.
“In the second half we suffered a bit.
“But I think it’s normal because when you play against Everton, they are a good team.
“They changed their coach and usually this type of situation means the players want to try to give more.
“And for this reason, the game was dangerous for us.
“But I am happy because I saw a lot of positive things.”

Conte must now get his players ready for a Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.
The West London outfit then head to Italy as they take on Roma in the Champions League.
Due to the fixtures coming thick and fast for the Premier League champions, Conte ensured he used his youngsters in tonight’s victory.
Starlets Charly Musonda, Ethan Ampadu, Andreas Christiansen and Kenedy all got the chance to shine from the outset.

Chelsea will find out who their opponents are in the next round of the Carabao Cup tomorrow afternoon
