Carlo Ancelotti decides his next club and it’s shocking!!!
Italian mastermind Carlo Ancelotti is set to snub Everton’s managerial offer.
Everton had been very busy in the recently concluded summer transfer window. They spent approx £130m to bring in a host of new players but Ronald Koeman’s failure to give the Toffees a solid start to the campaign saw him got sacked after their 5-2 loss against Arsenal.
Assistant coach David Unsworth has taken up the free role on a temporary basis but the Merseyside club are trying to find a permanent solution as soon as possible. Plenty of names have been doing the rounds at the Goodison Park. Phil Neville, Thomas Tuchel and Sean Dyche have been noted as some of the interesting candidates but it is Carlo Ancelotti whose name has been linked strongly.
But, according to multiple reports in Chinese media including the popular outlet The Nanfang Daily, Ancelotti has decided to snub Everton to coach Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande. Current head coach of Guangzhou, Luiz Felipe Scolari is expected to leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the November as he prefers a return to his native Brazil.
Guangzhou officials are believed to have already met Ancelotti and he will be named as the new head coach once the Chinese Super League reaches it’s conclusion. He will meet all the players and assess the squad in a training camp scheduled in November.
