Florentino Perez explains Harry Kane links
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes they have to make a world-record bid to sign Harry Kane.”
England striker Harry Kane has been in sublime form from the last couple of seasons scoring loads of goals for fun for both country and Tottenham Hotspur. His superb form has linked him with a big money move to Real Madrid. The links got intensified after Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane showered praise on the 24-year-old striker. But, Real Madrid president dismisses all those links. He also believes that even if they enquire about Kane,
he is pretty much sure Tottenham would demand a world-record fee for the prolific striker.
Speaking to Spanish radio station, Cadena Cope, Perez said : “Signing Harry Kane has not passed through my head.”
“He is a magnificent player and in addition he is young.
“He has many years before him to progress. But we are delighted with the team we have, including (Karim) Benzema.”
Madrid had previously signed Gareth Bale and Luka Modric from Tottenham. About his relationship with Daniel Levy,
“We built a very good friendship.”
“Every time we win the European Cup, he told me the same thing: ‘Thank you for winning the European Cup with my players.'”
If the Los Blancos ever consider pursuing the Englishman in future, Perez’s good relationship with Levy might help them to land Kane.
