Real Madrid confident of signing their next Galactico
According to ‘The Sun’, Real Madrid are optimistic that they will sign Tottenham’s Harry Kane as their next galactico in the succeeding summer window.
The England striker has been a key target of the top European clubs following his splendid form, and his Spanish suitors were impressed by his performance when the two sides met in a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Tottenham are unwilling to part company with the 24-year-old who has emerged as one of the world’s deadliest strikers over the course of the last three seasons, but now reportedly face a tough battle to hold on to their prized asset.
‘He is a very important player, he is a key player for Tottenham, he is very good at everything. He is a complete player.’ Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane said earlier this week.
A move to the Spanish capital from North London is not rare, with Luka Modric and Gareth Bale following that course in the recent years. Kane, who has won the Premier League Golden Boot in the last two seasons, might be considering a move away from Wembley if he feels that his current side’s chances of winning a major silverware are less than that of his suitors. Spurs, whose last trophy was 2008 Carling Cup, has been impressive in the Premier League in the last few seasons but haven’t managed to emerge as the champions.
Tottenham host Liverpool later this evening, and all eyes will be on the forward who has bagged 11 goals from 11 games across all competitions in this season.
