Sydney FC defeated Wellington Phoenix 3-2 last week to keep the winning form at the start of the season. With two wins in two the team moved to second in the table, trailing Melbourne City FC on goal-difference.

The onus to win is big as the team managed by Graham Arnold take the center stage at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening as the cross city rivals Western Sydney Wanderers are in town.

Wanderers are coming on the back of consecutive home games and their start is positive after beating Perth Glory 2-1 on matchday 1 and drawn Central Coast Mariners 2-2 last week.

However, the credentials away from home will be on the radar as the team prepare for the first road game of the season. They managed only 4 wins from the 13 games last season, but their ability to draw matches is commendable.
