Dortmund confident on Reus’ future, despite the forward hinting a move elsewhere
Dortmund Sporting Director, Michael Zorc confident on the fact that Marco Reus will be at Dortmund in the long run, despite the forward himself hinting a move elsewhere in search of new challenge.
One of the unluckiest players in current football world, Marco Reus is one the most gifted footballers but his career has most been on the sidelines than on the pitch. Injuries have haunted him like no one else. So now the 28-year old wants to look for a new challenge in coming years.
The Germany international also said in a interview that he may be considering a move elsewhere in search of a new challenge and that might be his final part of his career on the highest level.
Reus who joined Dortmund from Monchengladbach in 2012 is under a contract till the end of 2018/19 season. The 28-year winger has been loyal to the yellow jersey, he has seen his best buddies leave the club for various reasons but Reus never gave a thought about leaving Signal Iduna Park. That is the reason he is a crowd favourite at the Signal Iduna Park.
Rues is currently recovering from injury and has not made a single appearance this year. He said thet he wants to give away all his money to be fit and healthy again. Reus’ fitness is also a concern for Germany national team as the winger has already missed the Euro due to injury and he doesnt want to miss the World Cup next year in Russia.
Dortmund Sporting Director Michael Zorc is confident that the club will have Reus in the long run and the winger will soon pen down new terms extending his stay at the club.
