Ciro Immobile set to extend his contract with Lazio
Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is set to extend his contract that will keep him at the club until 2023.
Immobile has been in red hot form this season, scoring 11 goals in 8 Serie A matches and 15 in all competitions, including a hat-trick against AC Milan and a brace against Juventus.
His total tally for the club reads an impressive 41 goals in 52 matches for I Biancocelestis.
According to Il Messaggero, Immobile will sign a two-year extension to his current contract that will see a rise in wages for the Italian international.
The 27-year-old is set to earn €2.5 million per season, a €0.3 million hike from his current wages of €2.2 million.
Meanwhile, Lazio take on OGC Nice in the Europa League today. So far, they have won all their matches.
