The season started well for Hamburg but as MatchDays went by things began to get wrong. Last 6 match stats show that Hamburg only drew once and lost 5 of them. Things really have to get straight soon or else a potential relegation scare may again ponder among Der Dinosauriers. Though it looks like the unlucky celebration injury of Nicolai Muller has turned out to be a disaster for Hamburg. Now it remains to be seen if they can produce something against Bayern to atleast fetch something from the match. Hamburg boss Markus Gisdol will be getting back the services of Club Captain Kyriakos Papadopoulos as he completed his one match ban against Mainz due to accumulation of yellow cards. Gisdol has no fresh injury concerns to deal with.

Possible line up – Hamburg (3-5-2) : Mathenia; Papadopoulos, Mavraj, Van Drongelen; Diekmeier, Ekdal, Jung, Walace, Hahn; Kostic, Wood.

Jupp Heynckes the right man for the job? Yes he is, nobody can manage Bayern like this except good old Jupp. Bayern are looking like a completely changed side presently than that of Carlo Ancelotti. Jupp Heynckes will be looking to get his 3rd straight win for the Bavarians in all competitions. Some rotations might be on the cards as Arturo Vidal, James Rodriguez and Rafinha all came on as subs against Celtic FC in Bayern’s 3-0 battering over them. Jupp has no fresh injury concerns to deal with though Neuer, Martinez, Bernat and Ribery all remain out with respective injuries.

Possible line up – Bayern (4-2-3-1) : Ulreich; Rafinha, Süle, Hummels, Alaba; Vidal, Thiago; Robben, Müller, James; Lewandowski.
