After a quite boring draw in the weekend at Anfield, Manchester united were looking to back at the winning ways and keep themselves in the poll position of group a in the Uefa Champions League.
They faced the Portuguese giants Benfica in stad de luz in matchweek 3 of the Champions league.
Here are 5 talking points from Lisbon:

Night of history: at 18, Mile Svilar made history by becoming the youngest goalkeeper to play in the Champions league eclipsing the Spanish legend Iker Casillas, whose record stood for 17 years.

Slow United: After the bus parking at Anfield everybody was expecting a solid big united win. But threy started very slowly, with wasteful passing and very much defensive they hardly go forward against a struggling Benfica side.

Urgency of “Pogback” : Herrera and Matic may contribute defensively but they lack the chemistry between them which clearly state that United missed Pogba very badly in the middle of the park.

Rashford’s decider: In the second half Marcus Rashford curls the ball in brilliantly from 40 yards out which made the debutant goalkeeper nervous and force a horrible mistake when the 18 year old caught the ball and cross the goal line which led to 0-1 to Manchester united.

Great sportsmanship: after the game RomeluLukaku and other Manchester united players consoled the 18 year old goalkeeper personally. Because of his silly mistake he apologized to the Benfica fans. But it was really nice gesture from the away team who got their precious 3 points.

Poor Lukaku and Mkhitaryan: after starting the season quite magnificently HenrikhMkhitaryan struggled in the last couple of games including last night. He looks absolutely out of place and was really awfull in going forward.
As at AnfieldLukaku looks isolated last night also, with very minimal services the Belgian who was in hot form failed to score for the second game running in a row.
