WILL BLUE ARMY CONQUER THE TROPHY?
The Mumbai based ISL club has to set their mark high when comparing to their performance in the previous season.In 2014 and 2015 season the team had finished 7th and 6th position respectively.But their performance in last season was good as the team was played under the coach Alexandre Guimarães where they had finished 1st in the league table and the team reached the semis too.This season the team was under the guidance of same coach and with the same technical team.

1. Balwant Singh (footballer)
The Indian striker had joined Mumbai City FC this season previously in ISL he had played for Chennaiyin FC for 2 season.In I-League he was currently playing for Mohun Bagan.His recent performance had made him to select in the International side there also he is impressing all in the 2019 AFC asian qualifier he had scored 2 goals vs Maccau in their country,last month in the Tri-National series he had scored against Mauritius.When we see his international carrer he had played 4 games and scored 3 goals.

2. Pranjal Bhumij
The young player going to represnt MCFC this season. A youth product for DSK Shivajians, Bhumij made his professional debut for the first-team in the I-League on 26 February 2017 against Churchill Brothers. He came off the bench in the 60th minute for Naro Hari Shrestha as DSK Shivajians fell 3–0. He then scored his first professional goal for the club on 8 April 2017 against Shillong Lajong. He scored the equalizing goal for the club in the 63rd minute but despite that, Shillong Lajong scored a third in stoppage time to win 3–2.
3. Abhinas Ruidas
The U-23 player representing MCFC this season. Ruidas then made his professional debut on 18 January 2015 in East Bengal’s first match of the I-League season against Sporting Goa. He started the match and played 72 minutes as East Bengal drew the match 1–1. He then scored his first professional goal for East Bengal in the teams next game against reigning I-League champions Bengaluru FC. His 53rd-minute strike at the Salt Lake Stadium was the sole goal in a 1–0 victory. Abinash debuted for the India U23s against Uzbekistan U23s on 27 March 2015 in a AFC U-23 qualifier in Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium.

4. Rakesh Oram
The Indian U-19 player was a part ofd MCFC squad this season. Born in Chituapada, Odisha, Oram was scouted by Gangadhar Behera, the head coach of the Sambalpur Football Academy in 2010 during a talent search. While with Sambalpur, Oram helped the academy win the Biju Pattnaik Gold Cup while also representing his state in junior football competitions. In 2012, Oram was selected to join the AIFF Regional Academy in Mumbai before moving onto the AIFF Elite Academy. Oram has represented India at the under-15 and under-19 levels.
5. Sehnaj Singh
The Defensive Midfielder had Joined MCFC this season.In 2015 he had played for Delhi Dynamos in ISL.In I-League he had played for Monun bagun. Sehnaj started his international career at the under-19 level with India U19 against Turkmenistan U19’s on 31 October 2011 in the AFC U19 Cup qualifiers.
Sehnaj was called up for the 2018 World Cup group stage games group games against Oman and Guam by Stephen Constantine. He made his national team debut on 11 June 2015 against Oman in a Group D game of the 2018 World Cup qualifier in a 1–2 loss at home in Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Stadium. During the second leg of the World Cup qualifier against Guam, India played the second half with 10 men after Sehnaj Singh was sent off for a dangerous tackle in the 41st minute.

6. Mehrajuddin Wadoo
Wadoo is the Defencer from J&K signed for MCFC this season. He scored the winning goal against Bangladesh in the SAFF Cup finals at Karachi in December 2005. He was also a member of the Indian squad that won Nehru Cup 2007, the AFC Challenge Cup 2008 and the Nehru Cup in 2009. 4 times Winner, Federation Cup & IFA Shield. 2 times Winner, Nehru Cup (2007 & 2009). Wadoo was the best right-back in the Hero ISL during Season 2 as he helped Chennaiyin FC to the coveted Hero ISL trophy, appearing 14 times for the Super Machans.
7. Raju Gaikwad
Gaikwad is the defender for Mohun bagan.In ISL for the past 3 season he had played for FC GOA. Gaikwad made his debut for the India U23 on 23 February 2011 against Myanmar’s U23s in the 2012 Olympic Qualifiers; India U23 won 2–1. He then made his senior debut for India on 21 March 2011 in the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers against Chinese Tapei at the MBPJ Stadium in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; India won 3–0. Gaikwad then won his first championship with India on 11 December 2011 when he helped India beat Afghanistan in the 2011 SAFF Cup. Gaikwad then went on to lead India to win the 2012 Nehru Cup when India managed to beat Cameroon’s B team on 2 September 2012 at the Nehru Stadium in the Indian capital, Delhi.

8. Arindam Bhattacharya
The Indian GoalKeeper ia part of MCFC this season. Arindam made his debut for FC Pune City against Kerala Blasters on 30 October 2014 at the home stadium Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. On 7 November 2014 at Salt Lake Stadium in the match against Atlético de Kolkata, John Goossens suffered a very serious lower rib cage and paraspinal muscle injuries after a collision with Arindam in 78th minute. Seeing his performance in Subroto Cup, Stephen Constantine called him to Indian U-19 team. That was the first time he got the opportunity to represent Indian team. His first match for India was for the U-19 Indian team, where he played in Sri Lanka and Myanmar. He made his Debut for India U23 team on 5 December 2009 vs Afghanistan in Dhaka in 2009 SAFF Championship.
9. Amrinder Singh
The Indian Goalkeeper has signed for MCFC this season.In previous season he had represented ATK.In I-league he had played for Bengaluru FC. Amrinder represented India U23 during the 2014 Asian Games and was the starting ‘keeper in both of India’s games He was named the captain for India U23s for the 2016 AFC U-23 championship qualifiers in Bangladesh and started in India U23s 2-0 loss to Uzbekistan U23 on 27 March 2015.

1. Éverton Santos
The Brazillian Forward signed a contract for MCFC this season. He started his career playing in the youth groups of São José EC. On 2 March 2010 Goiás Esporte Clube signed the striker on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. On 21 March 2011, Éverton moved to the South Korean K League Classic side Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma on a loan deal, which was made permanent after paying overdue wages for about €75K. On 17 July 2014, Éverton moved to the South Korean K League Classic side FC Seoul. On 28 July 2015, He joined Ulsan Hyundai.

2. Rafa Jordà
The spanish central forward was a part of MCFC this season.He had completed his youth carrer in Valencia and played more than 12 clubs in his carrer.

3. Achille Emaná
The Cameroon Attacking Midfielder had signed for MCFC this season.He had played for the clubs like Toulouse,Betis. An international since 2003, Emaná represented the Cameroon national team at that year’s FIFA Confederations Cup, also appearing for the country in the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations, where his side exited in the quarter-finals. Late in 2007, frustrated with the treatment he received whilst at the service of the national team, he retired from international play, but returned shortly after, appearing in the 2008 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, where he scored against Zambia in a 5–1 group stage win – Cameroon eventually lost in the final to Egypt. Emaná represented Cameroon at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, playing in two games (two defeats) in an eventual group stage exit for the Lions Indomptables.

4. Léo Costa
The Brazillian Attacking Midfielder is a part of MCFC this season.He had completed his youth career at Santo Andre.He had represented more than 14 Brazillian clubs.
5. Thiago Nascimento dos Santos
The Young Brazillian Attacking Midfielder representing MCFC this season.He is on loan from Flamengo club.

6. Gerson Vieira
He was the retained player for MCFC last year also he had represented MCFC. Gerson wears the national colours since 2006 for various age group teams of Brazil.He was the champion of Mediterranean International Cup held in Barcelona , South American U-15 and U-17 champion and champion and best player in the Sendai Cup 2009 in Japan.His leadership qualities earned him the captain’s armband in Brazil at all levels, except the first, when he was 14 years old.

7. Márcio Rosário
The Brazillian Centre back first time playing the ISL. Márcio Rosário previously played for Juventude in the Campeonato Brasileiro. He was hired by the UAE side Al-Jazira in 2008 at the request of the coach Abel Braga. In July 2010, he left UAE after two seasons with the Al-Jazira. On 2 August 2010, Márcio Rosário signed a one-year contract with Botafogo. Next year, he moved to Fluminense which was managed by Abel Braga on May 26. On August 2012, Márcio Rosário signed a two-year contract with CS Marítimo.
8. Lucian Goian
The Romanian centre back has renewed his contact for this season as he was a part of last year squad too. In international side he has represented Romanian U-21 side.
