Timo Werner will not play against Dortmund due to an unique reason
When Leipzig take on Borussia Dortmund today, a familiar face will be missing on the pitch.
Timo Werner will miss the trip out due to the fear of noise produced by Dortmund’s fabled Yellow Wall.

In fear of aggravating an injury, the club doctors have advised him to avoid increased noise levels. The 21-year-old is suffering from blockages in his cervical spine and the temporomandibular joint that connects the jaw to the ear.
It was during Leipzig’s Champions League visit to Beşiktaş that Werner came off after just 30 minutes, complaining of the noise made by the fans at the Vodafone Arena.
Ever since, he hasn’t taken to the field as medical staff attempt to solve the problem.
