Marcos Alonso confirms that he will ‘one day’ return to Spain despite being happy with Chelsea
The club’s one of the trustful left back has admitted he will return to his country some day in future but for now he will continue his hardwork with the London club.
Alonso proved to be one of the most influential figure in the Chelsea squad under Antonio Conte and discover his potential in helping the club winning the premier league trophy last season.
The 26-year-old started his career at Real Madrid put moved to Bolton Wanderers in search of first-team football. He therefore wishes to prove his worth in the native land.
“I’m very happy at Chelsea but I would like to return to Spain one day,’ Alonso told Cadena Ser. ‘Before I retire I’d like to play in La Liga. I haven’t played much there. ‘But i’m very happy in London. All I think about is the game against Crystal Palace.’
He just made it clear his intention but that his future initiatives and the Spanish counterpart knows that his career building lies at Stamford bridge.
‘I’ve continued my development at Chelsea and I have to continue to work in order to improve,’ said Alonso. ‘I really like the Premier League and to have the opportunity to play for Chelsea and win titles.”
