In a letter to Malta-based investment fund Doyen, officials say “the Commission does not intend to carry out a more in-depth inquiry into your allegations.” Doyen and Belgian lower division club argued FIFA’s 2015 Ban on TPO violated the European Competition laws and added TPO creates conflicts of interest between clubs, players, and investors.

One of the biggest rivalry in the La Liga is being shrouded in political dialemma as Barcelona visit Atletico Madrid on Saturday in their first trip to the Spanish capital since a Catalan independence referendum marred by violence. They played their last match in the closed doors as the Oct 1 referendum took place. Chaotic scenes were their as the police seized ballot papers and clashed with voters leaving 92 injured, among nearly 900 who sought medical attention. “It was one of the worst moments we’ve experienced,” Barca captain Andres Iniesta told Catalunya radio this week. “It was a bit surreal.”
4. Mohun Bagan threaten to put out name from IFA.
One of the most celebrated club of West Bengal ; Mohun Bagan threatened to pull out of the Indian Football Association (IFA) due to “partiality” during a match against East Bengal.
Mohun Bagan formed a five-member core committee to decide the future course of action, which may also include “de-affiliation” from the IFA and seeking affiliation from any other state association.
Anjan Mitra, Srinjoy Bose, Debasis Dutta, Satyajit Chatterjee and Swapan Banerjee have been named as the members of the committee, a statement from the club said.
