Former Chelsea man Matej Kezman is Milinkovic-Savic’s agent and according to him the 22-year old midfielder is happy at Lazio and will look to serve his current contract till 2022 before leaving the Biancocelesti.

Kezman said in an interview:

“Sergej has just penned a deal extension for Lazio. He’s happy there, that’s it.

“[Lazio boss Simone] Inzaghi made excellent work with helping him grow and improve, and a lot of credit goes to director Tare too, for having believed in him from the start.”

Italian champions Juventus are also keen on the Serbian as they saw their £40m bid turned down last summer by Lazio and clubs will get busy again once the transfer window re-opens.

Milinkovic-Savic is an unique combination of physicality and technique. He can play as a playmaker connecting midfield with attack or he can also play in the center, cutting passing lanes, intercepting passes and distributing the ball from a deeper position.

Milinkovic-Savic has netted 11 goals in 80 appearances for Lazio since joining the club from Genk in July 2015. He was very consistent last season with 4 goals and 7 assists as Lazio finished fifth in Serie A.

While insists his client is happy at Lazio, Kezman also took the opportunity to praise the impressive youngster.

Kezman praises his client as he added:

“Sergej is special. He has a combination of strength, fight and technique.

“He’s a top talent and what he needed was a club like Lazio and a coach like Inzaghi doing the best for him. Sergey is very happy to have him as a coach.”

Kezman claims that despite interest from big clubs all around the world Sergej is happy at Lazio. he is relatively young and with experience he will only get better. So he wants regular football before making a big money move elsewhere.
