Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal can lose its star duo in the next summer window
The horrific news which may turn out to be a unwanted reality causing Wenger to admit two of the Gunner’s Personnel namely Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s transfer out of the club.
The Frenchman himself has fallen into a pond of criticism missing out on the Champions league this season and often benching the Chilean sensation Sanchez which had led more intense speculation that the club will be unable to hold on to him until next summer. Already been hugely linked with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City this past transfer window, Sanchez would like to try the club this time and reconcile the Spaniard’s plans about him.
Another forward who would also favour a move out from the North London club is Mesut Ozil. The German currently been monitored by Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. Ozil had led himself in lot of trouble by his critics of showing Uncharacteristic body language against tough opponents which forced Wenger to withdraw him in certain stages. Now he would like to play at a club a lot calmer in critics but magnificent in producing results. Old Trafford thus can be a perfect place to step ib and recreate his fallen career at Arsenal.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Watford on Saturday, Wenger said in detail: “In our situation, we have envisaged every solution. It is possible.”
When asked specifically about Ozil’s future at the club, the Frenchman replied: “It is my understanding [that he wants to stay].
“I hope the situation can be turned around. At the moment, we are not close enough to announce anything.”
Wenger also revealed that he will speak with Alexis ahead of his side’s trip to Watford following the forward’s participation in Chile’s 3-0 defeat against Brazil in midweek.
Arsenal travel to Watford on the back of a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions, whereas the Hornets are unbeaten in their last two.
