Paris Saint-Germain planning summer raid on Chelsea
PSG are planning a mega bid for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante
The 26-year-old French international midfielder is currently one of the best of his position. Since his move to Leicester City from French side Caen for £5.6m in 2015, he has ruled over the midfield in England.
In his very first season, he won the league with Leicester City which awarded him with a £32m move to the London side Chelsea the following summer. That season he won the league with Chelsea bossing the Chelsea midfield and became the first player to win two consecutive Premier League titles with two different teams in consecutive seasons.
Now, according to The Daily Mirror, French giants Paris-Saint Germain are readying a £90m mega bid to land the Frenchman in Parc des Princes. PSG are in danger of breaching Financial Fair Play regulations after the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. But they are confident of offloading a host of players and carry on with their pursuit of Kante.
Kante, who has recently made it to the list of top 30 contenders for Ballon d’Or this year, is an instrumental figure in Chelsea midfield.
But considering the amount of money PSG are ready to offer to Chelsea and Kante being a Parisian, both the club and the player might be tempted to make the transfer permanent as soon as possible.
