FIFA U17 World Cup: All you need to know about India vs Ghana
This years debutants, India lost their 2nd match against Colombia by 2-1 which has almost killed their winning dreams and they have to win today’s match by 2-0 to get them a faint chance to reach knockout stage.
Ghana also lost their second match against USA and need a win today to reach knockouts

The world cup debutants lost their match against Columbia. Colombian Juan Penaloza had put Colombia ahead in the 49th minute. But the hosts fought back and equalized in the 82nd minute, through Jeakson Thounaojam, who marked India’s first ever goal at any FIFA competition.
But Penaloza, who played as a right-back in their 0-1 loss to Ghana, scored his second goal which almost killed the dreams of the hosts to reach knockouts. Now they have make a 2-0 win against Ghana today which will give them a faint chance.
India chief coach Luis Norton de Matos after the Columbia match said that “I am very proud of the team today. It was a fantastic game. I used to say that you always get a chance to win the game and today I felt that we could do that today. But they scored again and we lost the match in the end, But we showed that we can play at the same level of Colombia, one of the top South American teams. We gave a tough fight.”
Ghana U17 midfielder Abdul Razak Yussif has regained consciousness after being rushed to the hospital during their match against USA in World Cup group match in India.
Yussif was stretchered off after he was involved in a clash with American striker Josh Sargent in the 81st minute .
Even though he has fully regained consciousness, Yussif will be kept at the hospital for further observation to until he is fully fit. He has been kept out of the the squad against India today.
This can prove costly for Ghana as they have lost their match against USA by 1-0 and needs to win today to qualify for the next stage.
