Mourinho has an interesting take on the injury problems plaguing his team.
Jose Mourinho doesn’t think Lukaku and Fellaini injuries will have an impact on the Man Utd vs Liverpool game.
Lukaku missed the Belgium vs Bosnia and Herzegovina match due to an ankle injury, although he came on as a substitute and scored in last night’s Belgium 4-0 Cyprus match.
Mourinho said “If he plays tonight, it’s because he recovers (from injury). It’s a very important match for them. They need to qualify — so I just wait.”
“If he doesn’t play, I will play another one.”
Fellaini is sure to miss out this clash. Asked if Fellaini’s ligament problem was a blow to Manchester United, Mourinho responded: “No blow, no problem. We don’t cry with injuries, we may cry with the process that leads to injures, but we don’t cry. We just trust the players that are going to help.”
