Ronald Koeman’s season woes continue as Everton seek replacement
Everton’s weak performances this season has been a headache for their fans and management alike. The Toffees have managed to score just 4 goals this season while letting in 12 goals and are currently struggling at the 16th spot in the Premier League table after game week 7 with just 7 points on the table.
Even after spending a total of about £150 mil this summer, the Merseyside would not have hoped for such a dismal display of ball-play. With players of the likes of Sigurdssun, Rooney, Klaassen and Pickford incoming this season, Ronald Koeman would be scratching his head thinking what went wrong.
Ex-Barcelona player Koeman’s place is in contention right now as Everton owners will be desperate to see thier side surge above the table ranking and at least finish at a respectable position.
Ex-Watford boss Walt Mazzarri’s name has sparked across reports saying that the Italian may be perfect for the struggling side to revive top form. Mazzarri has already managed top teams including Inter Milan and Napoli and will bring in an extra edge inside the Everton dressing room and push players to take them out of the danger zone.
