Paris Saint-Germain star set to leave in January with European giants circling around
Argentinian international Javier Pastore is set to leave the Parc des Princes this January.
The 28-year-old Argentinian midfielder joined the mighty French side in 2011 from Palermo and has been an instrumental figure behind PSG’s rise to dominance in the French Ligue 1. But with the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe on the eve of this season, Pastore is now surplus to requirements. Pastore, himself is eager to try himself elsewhere .
Now El Gol Digital reports that Pastore’s potential availability has alerted a host of European powerhouses with Liverpool, Chelsea and Inter Milan are leading the race. They are ready to match PSG’s demand of £26m for the exciting attacking midfielder.
PSG have already spent €222m on Neymar before this season and due to pay €180m for Mbappe next season. They need to balance the cheque books now to meet the Financial Fair Play regulations and Pastore will be one of the many stars to be shown the exit door at PSG.
Although Chelsea and Liverpool are long-time admirers of Pastore, according to Sport Mediaset, Inter Milan are the most serious candidate to snap up Pastore and will come up with a January offer for the Argentinian.
