Liverpool set eyes on 20-year old Man City reject
Sheffield United starlet David Brooks is in blistering form this season. The 20-year old Welsh international has played in 11 of the Blade’s matches so far and has assisted twice already. The U-20 star is set to be in the wish list of many elite managers around the globe coming transfer window.
The No.36 is also being monitored by the Liverpool management and Jurgen Klopp is understood to be interested in the Sheffield United midfielder. Brooks was associated with the Manchester City youth academy since the age of 7 before City released him 3 years ago.
The young midfield prodigy is already a fan favorite at the Bramall Lane and manager Chris Wilder will be desperate to keep one of his star players intact in the squad. On the other hand, Liverpool would be wanting to wrap the deal up as quickly as possible in what could prove to be a bargain a couple of seasons later.
