Team News-

Hertha : It looked like Hertha doesn’t want to play well outside of Germany, got defeated against Ostersund in Europa League clash. Unlikely defeat. They may also get knocked out early in group stage if this goes on for the remaining 4 matches. Rune Jarstein, Marvin Plattenhardt, Karim Rekik, Mathew Leckie all were rested against Ostersund and are set to feature against Bayern. But Hertha lack a positive striker as Vedad Ibisevic, Davie Selke both are out injured. Saloman Kalou may take the place of Ibisevic for the time being though Ondrej Duda and Alexander Esswein are also options there if needed by Pal Dardai.

Possible line up – Hertha (4-2-3-1) : Jarstein; Weiser, Stark, Rekik, Plattenhardt; Skjelbred, Darida; Leckie, Duda, Esswein; Kalou.

Bayern : Drew 2-2 against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, lost 3-0 against PSG in the Champions League, Bayern’s last two outing resulted in Carlo Ancelotti’s departure from Bavaria. But it’s not like only the last 2 matches were responsible for the end of his reign, Bayern were struggling in the Bundesliga and weren’t playing “The Bayern style” or the dominant style they do for many matches. Now it’s upto interim coach and Bayern legend Willy Sagnol to do something and change this Bayern to the previous one. Sagnol in Bordeaux preferred the 4-3-1-2 formation and may apply the same it seems on sunday against Hertha. Manuel Neuer and Juan Bernat remain out though David Alaba is back again and is set to start.

Possible line up – Bayern (4-3-1-2) : Ulreich; Kimmich, Hummels, Boateng, Alaba; Rudy, Vidal, Thiago; Muller; Robben, Lewandowski.
