Edinson Cavani could possibly be sold from PSG in the near future
After Edinson Cavani’s latest disputes with Neymar Jr. at Paris Saint Germain have suggested that the Uruguayan striker might leave the club in January.
This has alerted numerous Premier League teams, who are all reportedly interested in signing the PSG number nine.
Cavani extended his contract at Paris earlier in the year, but if his differences with Brazilian star Neymar aren’t settled anytime soon then the former Napoli striker will be looking for an early January exit.
Cavani has scored 47 goals in 48 appearances last season, and already has eight goals in nine games for this season.
The Mail has reported that two top flight English clubs are looking to get the services of the player, if Cavani does intend on leaving Paris.
According to reports from The Bild, it seems like Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool FC are all interested in getting the player’s signature. But Cavani himself has reportedly said that he wants to join Bayern Munich or FC Barcelona.
With Chelsea FC recently selling Diego Costa back to Atletico Madrid, it is a possibility that The Blues could try and get the services of the player.
Neymar and Cavani had a dispute over a penalty kick few weeks prior, and this might see him get cut loose from Unai Emery’s squad. Reports from Spain have also suggested that alongside Real Madrid, Chelsea and Everton are also keeping close tabs on the Uruguayan. However, a possible return to Napoli could also be on the cards.
