Manchester United, Inter Milan, AS Roma and Barcelona are some of the teams that may attract the versatile attacking midfielder to their ranks. Currently Santos’ No. 10, Lucas’ agent Luccas Badia told Turkish news agency Haberturk that Crystal Palace and Fenerbahce had bid for the Brazilian player this summer, though for some reasons, the bid could not be accepted with bids as high as $15-20 mil being rejected.
With his current contract running out on 31st December, the clubs should be desperate to wrap this deal up at the earliest. Lima started his senior career at
Inter de Limeira followed by brief stints at Internacional and Sport on loan. He has been in Santos since 2014 and has been a fan-favourite ever since.
At 27, he has the perfect mix of maturity and play-making skills and clubs will look to fork out big bucks to avoid competition to get him. United boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan and will look to lure the player to the Theatre Of Dreams next summer.
