The duo combining with goal scorer Edison Cavani had made a perfect start to the season.Unai Emery wanted of something of same category versus ambitious Lyon side. Lyon also pulled off define signings in the Summer with Mariano Diaz & Bertrand Traore live to show their attacking talent. The game too was equally matched basically in the first half. After shattering Celtic 6-0 in the Champions league group stage, It was the home team who made all those early chances. But that was not to be impressed with.
With the teams going into the break, an atmosphere was created that the game will flow into a stalemate draw channel. But it was not so. Paris increased their press on Lyon’s defense. In the midst of the capital club rage, Lyon created a chance to get at front but were extremely unlucky to see distant effort from Morel hit the crossbar. Psg now went extremely serious in the dying 20 minutes with more sharpness in their attack. They got their reward in the 75th minute when Cavani’s attempted back heel accidentally slotted in by defender Marcelo, not to be mistake with Real’s. The joy doubled minutes before full time, when Neymar’s through found Mbappe in acres of space. But his initial drive was saved by Anthony Lopes which rebounded off the feat of Jeremy Morel and slid onto the net. Though Psg won, a stern improvement was needed to avoid any crisis further in the season to come.

Marseille recorded their first win since Matchday 3 after two destructive defeats and a draw. With a 1-0 victory over Konyospor at Stade Velodram, Marseille took it as their motivation to turn around. They did so against Amiens though it was an unsatisfying performance. Amiens already defeated Nice at their home, so they applied for something similar. Amiens were favourable to take the lead in the game with Di fijl keeping Pele busy at Marseille’s three stick. Astonishingly, Marseille didn’t register a single effort on target in the opening half. Starman Clinton Njie swept away all critics after the break with his two early goals in the half. In 52 minute, Njie chested down a cross and slotted past the opposition goalkeeper giving the lead. Three minutes after, Njie scored his second. Dmriti Payet created the attack releasing Florent Thauvin to run onto the defense. Swiftly then he passed it to Njie who beat his keeper to slid into the empty net.
Nice obtained their second consecutive win of the season defeating Stade Rennes 1-0. Boosted by their well earned points against Monaco, Nice took the game on high. Rennes were tactically the better side in the game. For that Nice had to dig deep to score a late goal finished awesomely by Italian goalgater Mario Balloteli. He capitalized on the sneek pass provided Plea to blast home in the 79th minute.

Bordeaux smoothed the early terrifying looks of home side Toulouse yet another Malcom goal in 1-0 victory. At the other hand, joy was handed to Claudio Ranieri’s Nantes in their 1-0 victory over deserted Caen.
