Girona face tough opponents Sevilla as they look to get back stability
Newcomer Girona are feeling the atmosphere of top flight football after being out strained by Athelitic club last weekend. A 2-0 loss wrapped up a frustrating display at San memes. The team diverted from their spirited concept of the last two games and led their defense into shadows through Aritz Aduritz’s goals. The opponents are much tougher this week.
Sevilla, like Barcelona, had started their campaign with a cent percent record, winning all three games in the league and also left English club Liverpool stagnate in a 2-2 draw in midweek of the Champions league. Their coach Eduardo Berizzo was sent off to the stands in that game but will be available on the touchline on Sunday.
Girona, gaining promotion to the top flight, started their la liga season brilliantly with a impressive 2-2 draw against Atletico. Next, they toppled Malaga with a 2-0 scoreline. The side showed that they are horses of long races, fight able throughout ninety minutes. Their current free flowing football ended with their first loss of the campaign at San memes but things are optimum to change. Girona hold capabilities to snatch an early lead and stop their opponents advance with their brilliant defensive work. The stability they brought in the last games may open the path for their glory. One man capable of creating chances is Pons. Pons’s diagonals and cross to perfection can give the Seville side nightmares. And the one who will convert those chances is Stunani whose pace and ruthlessness infront of goal can be vital.
The Seville side are feeling positive with two of their forwards are maintaining goal form. Nolito, signed from Manchester City, marked his return to the Spanish football with a goal in the 3-0 crushing of Eibar last weekend. Actually, the main goal threat is his companion Ben Yedder with whom he managed the rout against Eibar. Ben yedder is on the course to rifle out his unproductive last season and score more goals this time. Sevilla have no further cry for the loss of Stefan Jovetic because of him. The Montrenegian scored 12 goals in the Sampaoli era since January helping Sevilla to finish fourth last season. But As Monaco kept calling him and he moved out in the summer transfer window. No matter, Ben Yedder can turn to be a perfect replacement for him at this instance. Also Ben is performing at his best and almost on his own strength. He is also rewinding the ability shown by the departed Victor Machin, known as Vitolo. Unfortunately,Nolito will sit back this fixture with an injury. Sevilla are liable to pack their luggage with a win and keep cruising for a better finish this time.
One of the most cracking introduction in the summer is the returning Jesus Navas from City as well. His boyhood club where all began is an extra part of motivation for Navas all set to show his predominated class once more.
Girona will be without David Timor and Jose Aurelio Suarez will both miss out with injuries. However, Girona are expected to continue with the same team that has helped them negotiate their way through a tricky opening set of fixtures.
Sevilla will be disappointed to be without Nolito for this one, but he should return to action shortly. The visitors will be expected to pick a side largely resembling the one that dismissed Eibar with ease last weekend.

Sevilla: Rico, Carol, Lenglet, N’Zonzi, Ganso, Sarabia, Corea, Navas, Ben Yedder.
