Match Preview : Tottenham Hotspur vs Swansea

0 34

Spurs are starting to enjoy life at Wembley, but are still in search for their first home win of the Premier League season as Swansea come to town on Saturday.

Spurs are winless in the League at the national stadium so far this season, with Chelsea winning 2-1 and Burnley snatching a late 1-1 draw to leave Mauricio Pochettino’s title hopefuls frustrated. The mood lifted in midweek as Tottenham beat Borussia Dortmund in a thrilling 3-1 Champions League encounter, proving that Spurs have the quality to see off elite opponents under the Wembley arch. While Swansea are not in the same league as Dortmund, Paul Clement’s side are canny operators and will be looking to exploit any lingering doubts as they did on their last visit to the capital with a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace last month.
