Arsenal FC interested in signing former Chelsea FC player
Premier League club Arsenal FC has regained their interest in signing Juan Cuadrado once again.
The Gunners are once again planning to bring back the Colombian to the Premier League, as reports from Italy suggest.
Italian outlet TMW have suggested that after failing to sign Thomas Lemar, Arsene Wenger’s team will now approach Cuadrado instead.
Cuadrado, who previously played for Chelsea FC failed to impress at Stamford Bridge during his six month spell and was thus sold to Italian giants Juventus. But since his move to Juventus, he has improved a lot and has impressed numerous clubs around Europe.
His performances have surely caught the eye of Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger who was interested in the player even in the past.
Arsenal are currently looking to sign a few players in the next transfer window, in order to strengthen their squad. The Gunners are currently sitting at 11th position in the league table, with two losses in four games.
If The Gunners are to challenge for the title or even the Europa League then, they would surely have to sign a few marquee players in the New Year. With Alexis Sanchez reportedly wanting to leave the team, things could get ugly for Arsenal if they fail to sign anyone in the winter.
Wenger promised to spend huge in the summer but only managed to land Alexandre Lacazette for 50 million. Saed Kolasinac was also a huge signing but was signed for free.
