Manchester United eyeing Arsenal target Thomas Lemar
The transfer window may have been closed but that does not mean that Premier League clubs will stop monitoring players from all around the world.
Manchester United are once again ready and preparing to splash the cash, as they are ready to join in the chase to sign AS Monaco player, Thomas Lemar who is already a primary target of both Arsenal FC and Liverpool FC.
The Mirror has currently reported that The Red Devils will offer a club record fee in January for Lemar.
Mourinho himself has his eyes set on the player and his side is ready to steal him from Arsenal’s grip in the January window. Lemar failed to join The Gunners in the last minute of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners failed to sign the player after launching a 92 million bid for him in the deadline day.
As for the Frenchman, he did not sign the deal with Arsene Wenger because he wanted to join Liverpool FC at the time.
But Wenger’s side won’t give up that easily on the player, as they are set to launch another bid for the player in the winter transfer window but Wenger could set to miss out on the player once again, as United are ready to do battle for the Monaco midfielder.
It has been reported that the player’s representatives are aware of the Red Devils’ interest in the player and believe that he might be open for a switch to Old Trafford.
Lemar, who was part of the Monaco side who lifted the Ligue 1 last season, has already seen Mbappe, Mendy, Bakayoko and Bernardo Silva leave the club in the summer transfer window.
