Scottish wonderkid being monitored by Premier League clubs.
Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Everton FC are currently tracking Celtic FC youngster, Anthony Ralston.
The teenager is considered as one of the highest regarded players at the Scottish club after coming through the club’s youth system.
Numerous PL clubs have been monitoring the 18 year old, since he helped his nation finish third at this year’s Toulon tournament. Ralston’s impressive performances with Scotland at the Toulon tournament has helped him earn a call up Gordon Strachan’s senior Scotland team, Strachan has invited the player to train with the senior squad.
The teenager now hopes to make it to the FIFA World Cup, after training with the senior squad.
It has been reported that Everton and Spurs scouts were present when the Scotland U-21 team defeated the Netherlands U-21 team 2-0 in midweek. Ralston was once again impressive with his performance in this match as well.
This was his first cap for the Scottish U-21 side.
Ralston has been impressive throughout the year; he first made his debut for Celtic in the final game of the 2015-16 season of the SPL, as he made it into the Hoops first team as well. The right back played twice for Brendan Rodgers’ team twice last term.
So far this season, he has made four appearances and has scored his first goal for the club in their 5-0 win over Kilmarnock in the league earlier. He also made his UEFA Champions League debut when his side faced Astana last month.
The player’s stock continues to rise with his amazing performances for both club and country and Celtic will definitely think before selling off the player.
