AC Milan to extend contract with Tottenham target
Tottenham Hotspur’s target Suso is reportedly moving closer to sign a new deal with his current club AC Milan. As the player said,”I am not for sale, AC Milan won’t even sell me for €80 million and I am now close to signing a contract extension.”
The 23-year-old skilfull playermaker and Milan’s jersey no 8 holder Suso was not utmost proficient in his game last season. He just scored seven goals and provided nine assists. All other Milan players had a good pre-season and Suso was not even near the top of the list.
Now according to Calciomercato, Suso is in negotiations with Milan over a new deal, and according to sources, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is quite interested in securing the service of the former Liverpool man. Although the summer transfer market is over now but still they are expecting to sign him in the next transfer window.
Due to the huge signings made this year by Milan, a part of their hierarchy was not interested to extent Suso’s contract until the season started and it just took the Spain international two games in the Serie A to get back to his top form which seems to be convincing enough as ‘Fassobelli’ is in talks with the player to make him permanent atleast for the upcoming few seasons.
No other player is directly involved in more Serie A goals this season than Suso (4), and also he is the third highest rated player in the serie A through two matches (8.62).
